The court services section is tasked with the responsibility of processing, maintaining, and serving all summons, writs, subpoenas, executions and other orders issued to the Sheriff by the court of common pleas, court of appeals, juvenile court, and probate court. All writs and subpoenas issued by various state officials and boards and official papers issued by other states to the Sheriff are also processed through court services.
Additionally, sheriff's deputies serve the court of common pleas as bailiffs and officers of the court. Court services deputies also maintain two security screening stations in the courthouse and the safety building.
