The Miami County Law Enforcement Memorial was built on the northeast corner of the Miami County Courthouse in Troy, Ohio. The two Fraternal Order of Police Lodges in Miami County worked together with the victim/witness division of the prosecutor’s office, county government officials, and victim’s families to construct the memorial with generous support from the entire community.
In June of 1999, the Miami County Police Memorial was “Dedicated as a lasting tribute to all MIAMI COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, who have died in the line of duty, and to those who continue to risk their lives while protecting our communities.”
