May is National Drug Court/Treatment Court Month!! The Miami County “Second Chance” Drug Court, presided over by Judge Jeannine Pratt, joined 4000+ treatment courts across the country in celebrating National Drug Court/Treatment Court month. The Second Chance court hosted a Community “Clean up” service event where drug court participants spent an afternoon picking up litter at Troy’s Community Park. The Court also held its annual Graduation Ceremony attended by elected officials, treatment providers, community resource representatives, participants and their families spotlighting two graduates of the program and their recovery journeys. All for the purpose of recognizing how drug courts are leading people out of addiction and the criminal justice system into long term recovery.
