The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce that for the first time we are offering Safety Town for incoming kindergarten students at Bethel schools, Miami East schools, Milton-Union schools, Bradford schools, Covington schools, and Newton schools. Other first responders will be presenting along with our school resource officers. Some of the topics covered include seat belt usage, car seats, school bus safety, stranger danger, fire safety, gun safety, crossing the street, street signs and traffic lights. This would not have been possible without generous donations from several organizations and businesses in Miami County. This will continue to be offered every summer.
