Community Service

Community Service is a supervised work program used to penalize defendants for non violent offenses. Defendants are required to perform a specified amount of work hours in a supervised setting, as ordered by the Court, to benefit the community where the offense took place. Upon approval, indigent offenders are able to work Community Service in lieu of Court fines at a rate of $10.00 per hour. This program operates seven (7) days per week.
