Local Rule 16
VIDEOTAPE DEPOSITIONS AND TRIALS


16.01 EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION

Pursuant to Rule 13 of the Rules of Superintendence for The Courts of Ohio, this Court hereby adopts the VHS one-half inch video cassette format at a tape speed of
1 5/16 IPS (standard play) together with specifications for recording and playback as the format for use on all videotape depositions and trials.

Pursuant to said Rule, the Court will provide the playback equipment, including monitor and playback unit and operation thereof. The provisions of Superintendence Rule 13 in its entirety are hereby adopted as the rule of this Court.

16.02 FILING OF VIDEOTAPES

All video tapes filed with the Clerk for use at trial must be accompanied by a typed transcript of the deposition.

16.03 COMPLIANCE

Failure to comply with these Rules or any of the provisions of Superintendence R. 13 shall be grounds for inadmissibility of such tape(s).
