Direct supervision of Eligibility/Referral Specialist 1 & 2 Caseworkers, including participation in hiring, promotion, discipline and termination of staff. Completes performance evaluations. Acts as the Work Number Coordinator and the Voter Registration Coordinator. Monitors the processing of public assistance cases, IEVS matches and healthcare applications.  Ensures compliance with public assistance, food assistance, voter registration, and the work number.  Assigns and reviews work of subordinate staff. Resolves employee questions, problems and complaints. Resolves client complaints. Assists in the development of agency policies and procedures. Miami County Sanitary Engineering-Transfer Station Operator 2-Full Time
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY

Under direction, operates loader and other Recycling and Transfer Station equipment to transfer refuse to semi-tractor-trailer for transport to disposal site. Operates semi-tractor and other equipment to transfer solid waste to and from tipping floor or loading area. Inspects, analyzes, and performs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and welding maintenance and repair on all Transfer Station equipment and machinery; develops and monitors preventive maintenance schedules. Miami County Municipal Court-Probation Officer-Full Time
Under direction, supervises probationers in both office and field settings, facilitates Evidence Based Interventions such as Thinking for a Change and Carey Guides, makes referrals to treatment providers. The probation officer provides case management services, monitoring improvement progress, addressing the offender’s criminogenic needs in areas of counseling, employment, educational training, etc.; Attends court hearings and proceedings, as necessary. Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services-Maintenance Staff-Full Time

Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
