Miami County Job & Family Services-Receptionist/Unit Support Worker II-Full Time
Under general supervision, performs receptionist/switchboard duties, gathers information, handles customer paperwork, schedules appointments, screens clients for urgent or emergency needs. Performs a variety of data entry and computer functions. Answers incoming telephone calls on multi-line switchboard. Performs general clerical duties, e.g. typing and word processing, document imaging, copy work, filing, mail. Riverside DD-Funding Specialist-Full Time
Functions as part of various teams supporting individuals served. Supports these teams by providing expertise in funding and service authorization. Responsible for the review and submission of Targeted Case Management (TCM) billing. Oversees processes associated with necessary corrections. Prepares and implements trainings related to TCM for the Service and Support Administration (SSA) department. Generates and projects costs associated with Medicaid waiver services. Prepares and implements training related to Medicaid funding for the SSA department. Continuously review rules and rule changes associated with Medicaid waiver services and the Cost Projection Tool (CPT).
Works directly with the SSAs as part of the ISP process to plan for services. This includes the review of PAWS utilization reports. Maintains ongoing communication with SSAs and providers regarding waiver funding, annual planning and billing. Attends team meetings to prepare and review waiver funding. Miami County Soil and Water Conservation District-Drainage Technician-Full Time

The position of Drainage Technician is a diverse position with technical responsibilities of agricultural and urban drainage issues. Assist with site investigation; preliminary surveys; engineering surveys; design layout and supervise construction of drainage practices and other conservation practices. Assist with agricultural and residential group drainage projects (informational meetings, hearings, site inspections, etc.) Assist with the mapping of the Phase II Storm Water Program. Miami County Public Health-EH Intern-Seasonal
Miami County Public Health is seeking an intern to work this summer in the Environmental Health Division. The internship will be for ten weeks (400 hours) starting in June. The intern will be paid $10.00/hr. and will be expected to work Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 400 hours may be split up throughout the summer to accommodate a vacation or days off. The intern will need to provide their own transportation in the performance of their duties and will be reimbursed at the federal mileage reimbursement rate which is currently $0.535 per mile. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
