Miami County Sanitary Engineering-System Utility Tech 1-Full Time
Under general supervision, performs routine maintenance checks and repair of water and wastewater plant systems and equipment; conducts preventative maintenance checks of pumps and motor s; scrapes, cleans and paints water and wastewater infra structure components; performs minor repairs to mechanical and electrical equipment; operates and/or utilizes power and hand tools in performing assigned duties; lubricates motors, blowers, and other prime moving equipment; records completed maintenance checks and repairs; maintains and/or repairs water and sewer distribution infrastructure components. Locates and reads water meters; accurately logs readings into a handheld electronic reader or log book; notes damages or malfunctioning meters; collects water or wastewater samples for EPA testing. Miami County Job & Family Services-Account Clerk 1-Full Time

Under general supervision, performs a variety of accounting transactions. Accounts Payable: prepares and monitors purchase orders and obligation sheets for County Auditor’s Office. Prepares invoices for payment; posts transactions. Accounts Receivable: process receipts and prepare pay-in documents. Enter and balance receipts and payables in Program Expenses Tracking System (PET).Reviews and processes child day care adjustments, tracks overpayment accounts and processes new hire alerts. Maintains attendance records. Prepares various fiscal/financial reports and performs basic auditing and examining. Performs general clerical duties, eg. Typing, scanning, copy work, filing, open, sort and distribute mail. Riverside DD-Service and Support Administrator-Full Time
Assesses individual needs for services and supports; develops, reviews, and revises’ individual service plans; establishes recommendation for and obtains approval of budgets for services based on the individual’s assessed needs and preferred ways of meeting those needs. Riverside DD-Investigative Agent-Full Time

Due to the need for 24-hour availability related to Major Unusual Incidents, the incumbent must be available / responsive by phone or in person in MUI situations to consult with on-call staff, coordinate or conduct investigations. This person will be responsible for the reporting, investigating and recording of major unusual incidents, including collaboration with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, law enforcement, courts, staff, Board contracted entities, and administration. Initiates investigations immediately if there is substantial risk of harm to the individual. Cooperates fully with the law enforcement agency, or other lead investigative entity responsible for investigating the report and for filing any resulting criminal charges, and, on request, turn over evidence to the entity. Miami County Public Health-Breast Feeding Peer Helper-Part Time

Under the general direction of the WIC Director and the WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator, the Breastfeeding Peer Helper is responsible for providing basic breastfeeding support and information to pregnant and breastfeeding women through clinic visits, phone and text contacts, social media and mailings. This position is responsible for obtaining and completing accurate documentation on each participant, planning and conducting regular breastfeeding support group meetings and/or activities, assisting the Breastfeeding Coordinator with group classes and issuing breast pumps as needed as well as other related duties as requested by the WIC Director. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
