Under general direction, interprets and posts fiscal data to books, journals and/or computer; receives payments, issues receipts, and reconciles cash to receipts and stubs; operates computer system to prepare and maintain records of water usage ( e.g., mails bills and past due notices, records payments received, enters data on computer, compiles lists for documents, provides usage data when requested, etc.); maintains refuse billing records. Miami County Job & Family Services-Child Support Trainer-Full Time
INTERNAL MIAMI COUNTY JFS APPLICANTS ONLY

Responsible for the training of newly hired staff and training of current staff on policies and procedures for the Child Support Program. Responsible for training staff to become familiar with sets, crise, Kidstar, SVES, Quick, FileNet-FTI-User and office procedures. Responsible for training all staff on safeguarding awareness. Reviews child support cases completed by case managers, returns to case manager for questions or follow up. Attends meetings, seminars and training sessions on programs administered by the agency. Must be able to interpret local, state and federal regulations for the Child Support Program. Will manage an assigned child support caseload. Miami County Children's Services-In-Home Caseworker I-Full Time

Miami County Children’s Services-Caseworker I

Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
