Miami County Commissioners-Budget/Finance Analyst-Full Time
Under general supervision, handles the development, preparation and reporting of the County's operating and capital budgets; serves as an advisor/consultant to the County Clerk for budget related issues; and serves as back-up to the Financial Accounts Clerk. Plans, organizes and coordinates the development, preparation, implementation and evaluation of the County's annual budget and capital Improvement plan. Develops policies, procedures, and forms for the preparation and administration of budgets. Miami County Job & Family Services-Child Support Case Manager-Full Time
Manages child support cases in accordance with federal, state and local laws and procedures. Contacts and interviews parties. Using computer resources, conducts in-house investigations for child support enforcement, including collecting and verifying information. Determines compliance with court orders. Prepares documents and recommendations for enforcement of child support. Related data entry and case maintenance tasks. Miami County Job & Family Services-Employment Services Worker-Full Time

Interviews, evaluates and assesses applicants for public assistance regarding their employment situation. Complete assessment, employability plans, and self-sufficiency plans for the Ohio Works First (OWF) and Food Assistance Programs. Determines eligibility for emergency-based assistance (PRC) and support services such as child care and transportation. Enters information in the computer system. Makes home visits as needed. Riverside DD-Business Director-Full Time
Provides leadership to plan, develop, implement and evaluate the business of the Miami County Board of DD. Is responsible for assuring compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, rules, regulations, codes, standards and agency policies. Provides supervision to assigned staff. Miami County Public Health-EH Intern-Seasonal
Miami County Public Health is seeking an intern to work this summer in the Environmental Health Division. The internship will be for ten weeks (400 hours) starting in June. The intern will be paid $10.00/hr. and will be expected to work Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 400 hours may be split up throughout the summer to accommodate a vacation or days off. The intern will need to provide their own transportation in the performance of their duties and will be reimbursed at the federal mileage reimbursement rate which is currently $0.535 per mile. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
