Under general supervision, handles the development, preparation and reporting of the County's operating and capital budgets; serves as an advisor/consultant to the County Clerk for budget related issues; and serves as back-up to the Financial Accounts Clerk. Plans, organizes and coordinates the development, preparation, implementation and evaluation of the County's annual budget and capital Improvement plan. Develops policies, procedures, and forms for the preparation and administration of budgets. Miami County Animal Shelter-Clerk/Kennel Attendant-Part Time
Under general direction, performs routine clerical tasks to document receipt, custody, care and disposal of animals; assists general public with routine questions, including releasing/adoption of animals, issues dog license, collects fees; researches files to locate rightful owner of impounded dogs; answers phone, performs data entry, files and retrieves records. Administers vaccinations to animals; administers methods of euthanasia (after successfully completing certification training). Riverside DD-Behavior Support Coordinator-Full Time
Monitor and assess agency needs regarding behavior support, including reception and prioritization of referrals. Provide input for and follow policies and procedures related to the behavior support process. An integral part of the Human Rights Committee (HRC) potentially to include facilitating meetings and presenting/ behavior support strategies for review to the HRC. Provide follow-up on HRC questions and recommendations. Facilitate work of ISP team to gather and review all necessary documentation to ensure proper development of Functional Behavior Assessments and development and implementation of both positive and restrictive behavior support strategies in accordance with 5123:2-1-02 (G) of the Ohio Administrative Code. Riverside DD-Business Director-Full Time
Provides leadership to plan, develop, implement and evaluate the business of the Miami County Board of DD. Riverside DD-Funding Specialist-Full Time
Functions as part of various teams supporting individuals served. Supports these teams by providing expertise in funding and service authorization. Responsible for the review and submission of Targeted Case Management (TCM) billing. Oversees processes associated with necessary corrections. Prepares and implements trainings related to TCM for the Service and Support Administration (SSA) department. Generates and projects costs associated with Medicaid waiver services. Prepares and implements training related to Medicaid funding for the SSA department. Continuously review rules and rule changes associated with Medicaid waiver services and the Cost Projection Tool (CPT).
Works directly with the SSAs as part of the ISP process to plan for services. This includes the review of PAWS utilization reports. Miami County Municipal Court-Bailiff-Part Time
Provide security for the Court and possess the ability to effectively handle potentially volatile situations. Secure Court sessions by providing protection and assistance for Court personnel and the public. Obtain the necessary documentation to execute Court orders. Provide any service to assist the Judge or Magistrate in conducting Court Sessions and any necessary services to insure the daily operation of the Court. Miami County Public Health-EH Intern-Seasonal
Miami County Public Health is seeking an intern to work this summer in the Environmental Health Division. The internship will be for ten weeks (400 hours) starting in June. The intern will be paid $10.00/hr. and will be expected to work Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The 400 hours may be split up throughout the summer to accommodate a vacation or days off. The intern will need to provide their own transportation in the performance of their duties and will be reimbursed at the federal mileage reimbursement rate which is currently $0.535 per mile. Miami County Sheriff's Office-Corrections Officer-Full Time
Corrections officers are responsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail. In Miami County the Sheriff’s Office operates two jail facilities and staff both with corrections officers. The first is a 43 bed facility located in downtown Troy and is considered maximum security, holding our highest risk inmates. The second jail is located in CR 25a north of Troy and is a 240 bed facility holding less serious male offenders and females. Corrections Officers rotate between both locations. Duties include: Periodic patrols and checks; monitoring inmate living quarters; screening visitors; inmate counts and other duties as required.
