Child Support Enforcement Agency
Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) Mission Statement
The mission of the Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) is to collect and enforce court ordered child support. The agency derives its authority from the Federal Government under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act, which recognizes that children have the right to receive support from both parents, and benefit most when both parents work together to take care of their child's emotional and financial needs. If a parent fails to contribute to the cost of raising a child, the CSEA will intervene.
