His government experience includes being Clerk of Lostcreek Township. He has also served on the Miami East School Board and the Lostcreek Zoning Board of Appeals.
For 27 years, Mr. Widener has been the owner/operator of a family farm (presently 900 acres) in Casstown, Ohio. He has had 30 years experience as an auction clerk and 11 years with the First National Bank and Hobart Corporation of Troy, Ohio. He is an active member of the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church.
