Miami County Department of Economic Development
Miami County Department of Economic Development (MCDED) is the primary organization charged with countywide economic and business development. The department was recently formed in June of 2004 when the Miami County Board of Commissioners hired James Hill as Development Director. The Economic Development Department’s mission is to encourage business investment, retention and job creation in the county.
